Terms of Service
Effective Date: February 10, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Accountability Emails (the “Service”), operated by Mike Paul (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Service. By subscribing, you represent that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
2. Description of the Service
Accountability Emails is a paid subscription service that delivers daily accountability emails designed to motivate and encourage action. The Service provides prompts, encouragement, and structure only.
We do not guarantee any specific outcomes, including productivity gains, career advancement, financial results, or personal success. You are solely responsible for your actions and decisions.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
The Service is offered on a paid subscription basis only.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or billing platform.
No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Billing and payment processing are handled by third-party providers (such as Squarespace), and your use of the Service is also subject to their terms.
4. Cancellation and Termination
Cancellation by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will stop future billing but does not retroactively refund fees already paid.
Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for non-payment or failed billing.
5. No Professional Advice
The Service is provided for motivational and accountability purposes only. It does not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical, or career advice. Any reliance on the content is at your own discretion and risk.
6. Intellectual Property
All content provided through the Service, including emails, text, and formatting, is owned by Accountability Emails or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or exploit the content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Accountability Emails and Mike Paul shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, opportunities, or reliance-based outcomes arising from your use of the Service.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to cancel your subscription.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your expectations.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on the website with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
